Every year since 1945 the Met Gala or as it is formally known “Costume Institute Gala”  is  attended by personalities from the arts, fashion, high-society, film and music,  and is considered to be the fashion industry's premier annual red carpet event and also a major fundraising benefit that serves as an opening celebration for the Institute's annual fashion exhibit.

Printemps Paris: A time for gentlemen!

In our recent trip to Paris we enjoyed Printemp,  the department store that has gone through a fabulous makeover and we couldn’t be happier.

Over the last few weeks CHANEL has released three short films starring Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne and Caroline de Maigret, all made for CHANEL’s GABRIELLE bag campaign; the fourth and final opus in the saga features singer Pharrell Williams directed by Antoine Carlier, the French creator of pop videos and music documentaries.

Michael Kors presents the most recent chapter in his street style campaign titled “The Walk”. His new spring 2017 campaign transports us in sunny California with his style icons being photographed in the LA streets.

Some look like they just came out of a Scottish clan (think “Braveheart”) and others are more “quite”, monochromatic and subtle. But, truth be told, it looks like next Fall is going to be all about tartan, checks and plaids, as seen on the runway of New York Fashion Week F/W 2017
